Morning Session: Joomla Templates

How long is the class?

3 hours.

What do I need to bring?

No materials will be required but a laptop with your editor of choice and a running Joomla site is desirable so you can follow along. 

Do I need any technical knowledge?

Basic skills on file management and file access management. Intermediate knowledge of CSS and HTML is necessary to get the most out of the class. 

Do I need to know anything about Joomla?

Knowledge of CSS and HTML is required.  It would help if you have set up a Joomla! installation before and have done some basic work in administering a website.

Who teaches the classes?

Toni Marie is originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, but is currently calling Mohave County, Arizona home.  A Kingman resident for 8 years, Toni has brought web design advancements to the desert and introduced Joomla to many of the local businesses and organizations.  The developer of KingmanTourism.org and MohaveBusiness.com, Toni is local to the Las Vegas outlying region and excited to bring more Joomla to the area.

Toni is a the owner of MyDynamicSite.com.  She has been a featured speaker at Joomla Day Vancouver, is a Joomla Extensions Directory editor and has been a contributor to the project in one form or another for more than two years.

Toni has taught several seminars in web development and website administration, most recently for the Small Business Development Center of Mohave County.  Her experience in website design goes back to the mid 1990s, and has evolved to designing exclusively Joomla sites.
